the ship rocks, the people shout no,
i hold on for dear life.

the mast tips
my fingers slip
i can't do it anymore.
the ocean glistens
a great and terrible beauty.
its their fault. they just didn't listen.
the waves are inching closer
and i start to think it over
did i make the right choice?
it feels like forever.
a few seconds more.
a smile across my lips
this is what i've waited for.
